The closest airport is Naples (NAP), which is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away by car or train.
From Montréal to Naples
Air Canada and Lufthansa now offer non-stop flights from Montréal-Trudeau (YUL) to Naples (NAP) during the summer.
Flight time: approx. 8–9 hours.

Getting from Naples to Paestum
Option 1: Train
From Naples Airport, take the ALIBUS shuttle (~20–30 mins) to Napoli Centrale train station.
Take a regional train from Napoli Centrale to Paestum (approx. 1 hr 15 min).
The Paestum train station is a short walk (10–15 mins) from the main hotel area and archaeological park.

Option 2: Private Transfer or Taxi
Private transfer from Naples Airport to Paestum takes about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Rome to Paestum
Rome (FCO) has more flight options than Naples but is farther away.
Option 1: Train
From Rome Fiumicino (FCO), take the Leonardo Express train to Roma Termini station (~30 mins)
Then take a high-speed train to Napoli Centrale (~1 hr), followed by a regional train to Paestum (~1 hr 15 mins)
Total travel time: approx. 3.5–4 hours
Option 2: Private Transfer
You can also book a private transfer from Rome to Paestum (~3 hours 30 minutes by car)
Ideal for small groups traveling together or with lots of luggage.

Getting from Naples to Paestum
Once you’ve landed at Naples International Airport (NAP), you’re just an hour and a half away from the coastal beauty of Paestum. There are several easy and scenic options to get there
Option 1: Car Rental (Recommended for Flexibility)
Driving from Naples to Paestum takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. It’s a beautiful drive along the coast or through the countryside. Having a car makes it easy to explore nearby towns and beaches at your own pace.

Option 2: Train
A scenic and affordable way to reach Paestum. Here’s how:
From the airport to Naples Central Station (Napoli Centrale):
Take the Alibus Airport Shuttle (~15 minutes, €5).
It departs every 15–20 minutes and drops you right outside the main train station
From Napoli Centrale to Paestum Station:
Direct regional trains take around 1.5 to 2 hours

From Paestum Station to Your Hotel:
The hotels are a 5–10-minute taxi ride or transfer away.
